Assoc. Prof.Dr. Marco Porta

Marco Porta is an associate professor at the Department of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering of the University of Pavia (Pavia, Italy). He received the Dr. Eng. (Master) degree in Electronic Engineering
from the Polytechnic of Milan (Milan, Italy) in 1996 and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Pavia in 1999. His main research interests include:

Eye Tracking Applications, Vision-based Perceptive Interfaces, E-Learning Technologies, Visual Browsing of Large Collections of Images, Visual Languages, User-Centered Interface Design, Human-Computer Interaction in general
He has published more than 80 articles in international journals, conference proceedings and books (http://vision.unipv.it/people/porta/publications.html) and has participated in several international and national
projects.

Prof. Dr. Omer Faruk Bay

Dr. Bay received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Education from Gazi University, Turkey in 1985, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics Engineering from Erciyes University, Turkey in 1992 and 1996 respectively. He is a full professor at the Department of Electronics and Computer Education in Gazi University. His research interests include artificial intelligence and their applications; control and instrumentation; intelligent systems and BCI for home automation. He has been worked at some national and international Projects as a manager and researcher. He has published more than 85 articles and published one book.
